A Post-Chosen Willow/Oz tag fic

The story so far:
Willow has been Kennedy-free for years. She's also been Scoobie-free for the past several years, because she just finds it easier.

Because of the spell she did in Chosen, she has an unsettlingly powerful relationship with the new Slayers, which unnerves her, so she's chosen, for the most part to ignore it.

She's living in a midwestern city in the US at the moment, though, going to grad school and working in a magic shop. She doesn't like to think about the implications of this, nor of living within a day's drive of Cleveland.

She's had a couple of moderately serious relationships, all with women, since Kennedy left her. When our story opens, though, she's been single for about a year.

Oz, on the other hand, has spent a lot of time wandering. Oh, he's stayed in a few places for longer lengths of time, but he's never created the ties enough for anywhere to be home.

He spent some more time back in Tibet but he found it didn't hold half the charm it did for him before, and he was only learning what he already knew. Losing Willow and his reaction to her has made him cagey, and if possible, more taciturn than he used to be.

He's been in relationships, though he'd never call them that - they've been brief and mostly hurtful - nothing's ever felt right to him, and he still doesn't trust himself around people.

He's been fighting the good fight, if the situation comes up - he's dusted many a vamp since leaving Sunnydale for good and whenever he's had a chance, he's been trying to find out about the people he left behind - notably, Willow.

When he heard about Sunnydale, he believed her to be dead, which threw him more than he expected. Currently, he's been travelling the US, looking for somewhere to (hopefully) settle, though he's not had any luck.

He's just passed through Cleveland, though, and he ran into people he never thought he'd see again, who have told him that Willow's alive.

He knows the shop is hers the second he sees it...
